Coming up we have a featherweight MMA rules bout between Bong Ji Woo (ranked 810 p4p, 725 weight class) and Kendo Hirigushi (ranked 100 p4p, 91 weight class). Ji Woo comes to the cage accompanied by 나쁜 달 상승. Rumors backstage are that the fighters have been paid to keep it standing but we know that would never happen in MMA!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the featherweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 22 - 12 - 2, fighting out of Los Angeles, Bong Ji Woo!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 23 - 13 - 0, fighting out of London, Kendo Hirigushi!
The judges for this bout are Cecil Peabody, Chris Downing and Frank Dennis.

Hirigushi takes a punch right to his stomach. That took the wind out of him momentarily.

Hirigushi is the aggressor but that punch slipped nicely by Ji Woo.
It looked like Ji Woo wanted to counter with a hook but didn't fully commit.

Ji Woo dives in and grabs Hirigushi's left leg, looking for a takedown. Hirigushi pushes down on Ji Woo's head and hops out.

Ji Woo ties up his opponent against the cage and manages to drag the fight down to the ground. Ji Woo no doubt will be looking to work submissions from his guard.

Ji Woo is trying to work for a kimura but Hirigushi is defending well.

Ji Woo seems to be looking for submissions.
Hirigushi is trying to stand up here but Ji Woo is controlling him well.

Ji Woo is looking for a kimura but he's never going to get it from there.
Hirigushi is looking to regain full guard. Not this time though.

Ji Woo is trying a forearm choke… I don't think that's going to do much at this level of the game.
Hirigushi is trying to stand up here but Ji Woo is controlling him well.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
The fighters are going at a pretty good pace and they're both starting to sweat now.
Ji Woo is just sitting in half guard, waiting for something to happen.

The minute break is over - no more time for sponges and pep talks - back to the action!

Ji Woo lunges in with swinging rights and lefts but Hirigushi circles away quickly and effectively.

Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!
Hirigushi looks to score with a combo but nothing lands.
Ji Woo thuds his right hand into Hirigushi's forehead from close range. That could be painful for both fighters.
Ji Woo shoots in for a takedown but Hirigushi shows good takedown defense there and keeps this one on the feet.
Kendo Hirigushi is looking to throw some combinations by the looks of things.
Ji Woo shoots in looking for a takedown but Hirigushi manages to keep the fight standing, pushing Ji Woo's face into the canvas for good measure before circling away.

Ji Woo tries to score with some ground and pound. Hirigushi controls his posture well this time though and the shots don't do any damage.

Hirigushi tries to work a leg under to get back to half guard but Ji Woo wriggles his own leg back out and remains in side control.

Hirigushi wants to get back to his feet but Ji Woo drags him back down.

That was a close second round but I would say that Bong Ji Woo will probably get the nod.
That's the end of the interval. I'm sure that seemed a lot quicker than a minute for our two fighters! Back to the action. And we move into the final round!

Kendo Hirigushi comfortably won the final round on my scorecard.
I think Hirigushi has won this one but let's see whether the judges agree with me. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.

Kendo Hirigushi tried to hype himself up post fight but didn't word it too well and it ended up with him sounding like a bit of a tool.
