Shankoli comes to the ring accompanied by Ravi Shankar - Om Shiva. Elizondo has chosen Peewee Longway & Money Man - Ooowwweee as his entrance music, which hasn't gone down very well with the crowd. Gaizka Elizondo has the power to score a knockout today if he connects clean with Ravi Shankoli's chin.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the super heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 13 - 4 - 0, fighting out of Amsterdam, Gaizka Elizondo!
The judges for this bout are Elvis Blanc, Dillan Fox and William Peck.

Elizondo throws out a token jab with nothing on it.

Shankoli is pinned up against the ropes taking some big shots here. The referee is looking closely deciding whether he should stop the fight.
Shankoli looks to have improved his striking defense since last time we saw him fight.
Shankoli throws a jab when Elizondo was well out of range.
Ravi Shankoli seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Shankoli connects with a leg kick. He turned his hip over nicely there.

Shankoli uses some good footwork to avoid the body shot by Elizondo.

Elizondo scores a flash knockdown with a right hook that drops Shankoli to his hands and knees! The ref pushes Elizondo away as he looks to land an illegal blow. Shankoli got an extra few seconds to recover there, which could have made all the differences as he stumbles back to his feet. The referee looks into his eyes and decides to allow the bout to continue. Can he survive?!
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!
Elizondo takes a shot to the body in his stride.
Shankoli throws a body kick but he wasn't in range.
Elizondo looks like he wants to counter punch here.
Shankoli misses with a jab, cross combination.

Elizondo drops his hands momentarily and Shankoli takes advantage with a crisp shot to the head.
Shankoli is looking to score with low kicks.

Elizondo uses some good footwork to avoid the body shot by Shankoli.
Elizondo buckles his opponent's knee momentarily with a nice leg kick.
Shankoli throws a body kick that misses.
Elizondo throws a body shot but no joy.
Elizondo throws a hard body shot but it just misses.

Shankoli fakes with a right hand and throws a good leg kick, right into the thigh. That had to hurt Elizondo.
Shankoli with a nice looking leg kick. You could hear that one land in a back row.
Shankoli connects with a lovely right hand, straight down the pipe.

Elizondo cracks Shankoli with a left hand that drops him to the canvas, up against the ropes! Can Shankoli get back up in time? 3, 4, 5, 6, 7... he's on one knee... 8, 9... he's up! 'Walk towards me' says the referee. Shankoli looks steady enough to continue so we're going to continue!
Shankoli takes a swing at Elizondo's ribcage but misses.
The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here.

and Elizondo counters with a good right hand that lands right on the jaw.

Shankoli is rocked!
Shankoli is wiping some vaseline out of his eye. Elizondo doesn't give a rats ass about fair play and cracks him with a massive hook to the side of the head! Shankoli crumples to the floor out cold! The cornerman is going to be in Shankoli's bad books for that mishap!

Ladies and gentlemen, after 1:29 of round 1, we have a winner by way of KO (Punch). Gaizka Elizondo!
Gaizka Elizondo looked relieved post fight as he said the following; 'thank you to the #1 p4p fighter of all time collin mcallister for taking this fight he had a lot to lose being the top fighter in the whole world and fighting someone lower in the ranking like me and i think i m just a bad matchup for him.....:)'.
Ravi Shankoli was interviewed post fight and said 'I believe he forgotten shower for a week or something, I gagged on my own vomit and never could get it back together again. Take a shower you filthy bastard!'.
