Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Katu Partio (ranked 272 p4p, 35 weight class) and Philip Ziskie (ranked 310 p4p, 40 weight class). Partio comes to the cage accompanied by Sininen sunnuntai. Man, I cannot wait for this one!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Partio looks to land a combination but Ziskie avoids it well.
A little jabbing left from Ziskie on the counter but it doesn't find it's target.

Ziskie is looking for a kimura. It's going to be difficult to finish that from half guard though and Partio defends it well.

Ziskie is sneakily working for an arm triangle but Partio sees it coming and defends easily.
The crowd thankful this round is nearly over.

Partio has hold of a guillotine but he's not going to be able to crank on it really with only half guard, so it's no trouble for Ziskie. Oh but Partio has got full guard now! Oh boy! This one could be over very soon! Ziskie goes limp - he's gone! Partio jumps up and celebrates with the crowd - fantastic submission finish!

Katu Partio decided to go for the less than humble approach in his post fight interview, telling everyone how he is going to conquer the world. The crowd seemed to like it when really that sort of approach could have gone either way.
