Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between The Devils Outlaw (ranked 4292 p4p, 406 weight class) and Ice Tea (ranked 20851 p4p, 581 weight class). Outlaw kept the crowd waiting but all that was forgotten when his ring entrance music started. The incomparable musical genius that is Moonshine Bandits For The Outlawz. Man, I cannot wait for this one!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 1 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Rio de Janeiro, The Devils Outlaw!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 13 - 18 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Ice Tea!
The judges for this bout are Cecil Peabody, Robert Twigg and Frank Dennis.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Outlaw throws a couple of head shots and lands with the final one - a decent hook, which struck Tea on the side of the head.
Outlaw stuffs a takedown. It's all about dictating where the fight takes place and Outlaw wants it to stay on the feet.
Tea shoots for a takedown but Outlaw saw that one coming a mile off and avoided it easily.
Outlaw throws a right hand that Tea ducks under and follows up with a left that Tea also avoids with ease.
And Tea tries to counter it with a takedown but Outlaw pushes his down on his head and steps out.
Tea takes an uppercut right on the button but keeps his composure.


It looks like Ice Tea has been cut.
Outlaw throws a nice looking combination but Tea bobs and weaves to avoid any damage.
Tea with the counter takedown but Outlaw avoids it easily.
Left hook, right uppercut from Outlaw.
A low kick lands for Outlaw.
Outlaw misses with a two punch combination.
Tea takes an uppercut right on the button but keeps his composure.

Tea looks for a takedown. He's got it. We're now in half guard.

Outlaw pushes Tea off and gets back to his feet.
Outlaw throws a combination but it was largely blocked by Tea.
Tea fakes high and shoots in for a takedown but Outlaw avoids it really well and circles away.
We've been told by Outlaw's head coaches at Soul Supremacy Rio that he's been working on his takedown defense in preparation for this fight.
The Devils Outlaw has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Ice Tea.

Tea rushes in with a sloppy looking punch
letting Outlaw counter with a right hand.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.

Tea takes a solid shot to the body. That one hurt him but he's trying not to show it.
Tea tries to drive through with a takedown attempt but Outlaw defends well and Tea ends up having to push Outlaw into the cage where they will battle it out in the clinch.
Outlaw was looking to counter that move with a punch but didn't quite pull the trigger.
Outlaw rushes forward with a series of wild hooks but Tea moves out of range and avoids them all easily.

Tea's coach down at Lovelair's MMA was telling us pre-fight that they have been working on Tea's balance. Obviously they view that as a key factor in the outcome of this fight.

Outlaw throws a series of strikes that have Tea backpedaling.

Outlaw throws a right hand that Tea ducks under and follows up with a left that Tea also avoids with ease.
Outlaw throws a combination. Tea tries to block but a couple of punches get through.
No luck with that takedown attempt from Tea.
Outlaw throws a big counter combination but Tea scrambles out of danger and avoids any damage.
Both fighters are looking to counter, which isn't making for the most exciting fight in the world.

The Devils Outlaw seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Tea tries to drive through with a takedown attempt but Outlaw defends well and Tea ends up having to push Outlaw into the cage where they will battle it out in the clinch.

Tea throws a looping left and ducks down for a takedown. He's got his arms around Outlaw's waist but Outlaw gets an underhook and avoids the takedown by throwing Tea off to one side.
Outlaw lands an overhand left. A wild punch that just about connected.
Outlaw thuds his shin into the meat of Tea's side.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

The corners get their ten second warning. Both fighters stand from their stools and stare eachother down, ready to get back to the action.

and Tea takes a counter punch right on the button for his troubles.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Tea looks frustrated there after his takedown attempt is stuffed easily.
As Tea looks to move away, Outlaw throws a big counter combo but Tea just gets out of the way.
The Devils Outlaw has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Ice Tea.
Outlaw throws a series of punches but Tea moves out of range.

Tea showing good head movement there, avoiding the strikes from Outlaw.
Tea with the counter takedown but Outlaw avoids it easily.
Outlaw slaps away a takedown attempt from Tea, before circling back to the center of the mat.
Outlaw throws a feint and then finishes with a kick to the body.
Outlaw fails to land with the punch combination there - jab, cross, hook, miss, miss, miss.
Tea drops down looking to force a counter takedown but Outlaw defends it well.
Outlaw lands a head kick. Tea smiles back at him and beckons him forward.

Outlaw looks to land a combination but Tea avoids it well.
Tea's hands are dropping dangerously low here and Outlaw connects clean with a right hook that sends him down to one knee! Tea scrambles back to his feet.
Tea dives in for a single leg takedown but Outlaw sprawls and the fighters end up clinched against the cage.
Outlaw keeps the fight standing with a nice sprawl.
Outlaw is really dominating this fight. Is there anything that Tea can do to turn this around?

Tea misses with a takedown attempt. He shot from a bit too far out.
Tea tries to score a power double leg takedown but Outlaw sees that one coming and sprawls well. That will dishearten Tea somewhat.
Tea shoots in and drives through. Outlaw sprawls well.
Outlaw appears to be looking for a big counter.

and Tea counters with a nice shoot takedown that brings the fighters to the ground.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

Tea prevents Outlaw from getting back to his feet.
Tea trying to pass the guard but can't manage it just yet.
Outlaw wants to stand up but Tea is controlling him.

Tea postures up as if he's going to throw some strikes but drops back for an ankle! Outlaw is in big trouble! He looks ready to tap! But no, he's escaped and dives on top of Tea, into his guard.

The crowd thankful this round is nearly over.
Outlaw lands a couple of elbows.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

That's the end of the round. The referee orders the cornermen out of the cage so we can get back down to business. This is the final round!


Tea steps to his left, right into the path of a big body kick from Outlaw. That one must have hurt.

Tea dives in and scores a takedown into Outlaw's guard.
Tea trying to stand up but can't free himself from Outlaw's guard.
Tea trying to control the position from guard on top but Outlaw is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can.
Outlaw is looking to stand up but Tea isn't so interested in that idea.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.

The Devils Outlaw overall seems to be getting the better of the ground position in the fight so far.

Tea is persisting with the attempt to improve his position.

Tea is holding a leg here, probably looking for an ankle lock - he drops back and goes for it! Outlaw is in trouble! Is it all over??? No! Outlaw has escaped and now he's on top!

Outlaw keeps in close for a moment and lands a decent shot to the side of Tea's head.

Tea is rocked!
Outlaw gets to his feet and stands over Tea, holding his ankles. He dives in with a big left hand that connects! Tea felt that one! Outlaw unloads more punches and elbows and this one is over! The ref has dived in to save Tea from any more punishment!

Ladies and gentlemen, after 2:56 of round 3, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). The Devils Outlaw!
After winning the bout, The Devils Outlaw thanked all his fans and promised he'd do even better in his next fight. The crowd seemed to love his humility.
