Adams comes to the ring accompanied by Thom Pace - Maybe. These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Adams shoots in for a takedown - he's clinched up with Diaz but Diaz pushes him off and we're back to square one.
Diaz looked like he wanted to counter with a punch but didn't throw it.
Diaz throws a body shot but no joy.
Adams checks the leg kick nicely there.

Adams moves to clinch but Diaz breaks away
and Diaz counters with a thumping low kick.

Diaz scores with a one two! Adams had his feet all tangled up there and couldn't avoid the strikes.

and Diaz counters with a monster hook and another for good measure! Adams falls to the ground, out cold! Stick some heavy metal music over the top of that clip and it's one for the highlight makers!
