Coming up we have a super heavyweight Tycoon World Grappling Championship rules bout between Mozes Amaury (ranked 3451 p4p, 91 weight class) and Balbus Michael (ranked 7853 p4p, 145 weight class). Amaury comes to the ring accompanied by Vultures Fly. The atmosphere really building for this one as we go over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!
This TWGC bout is 1 fifteen minute round in the super heavyweight division. Introducing today's competitors. In the red corner, competing out of St Petersburg, with a TWGC record of 8 wins and 11 losses; Mozes Amaury! And in the blue corner, fighting out of New York, with a TWGC record of 6 wins and 4 losses; Balbus Michael!
The judges for this bout are Frank Antenori, Jack Bonds and Timothy Bukovac.
The fighters bow as they face eachother in the middle of the mat and we are under way.
Amaury closes the distance and clinches.
Amaury jumps guard but Michael stands there with Amaury around his waist. Amaury gives up and drops back to his feet. We remain in the clinch.

Amaury is going to have to think about doing something other than just controlling because Michael is managing to avoid having the position dictated to him.

Michael stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Amaury swivels though and keeps the full guard.

We've been hearing good reports from Amaury's training camp. Apparently he has been rolling around with some good quality BJJ practitioners and has been sharpening his skills. Let's see if that has an impact on the fight today.

As we have tied on points, we go to a tie breaker and Amaury gets a bonus point for attempting more subs.

Mozes Amaury decided to go for the less than humble approach in his post fight interview, telling everyone how he is going to conquer the world. The crowd seemed to like it when really that sort of approach could have gone either way. |
