Coming up we have a featherweight MMA rules bout between Daniel Sainty (ranked 1936 p4p, 215 weight class) and Tzu Chu (ranked 2396 p4p, 254 weight class). Fingers crossed for an exciting fight - I'm sure both fighters are looking for a nice under the table bonus!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the featherweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of
22 - 24 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, Daniel Sainty!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of
5 - 6 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Tzu Chu!
The judges for this bout are Robert Twigg, George Francis and Daniel Franklin.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Chu throws a right hand that misses
and Sainty counters with a shoot takedown into half guard.
Sainty wants to lay and pray for a moment but Chu keeps working.
Chu regains full guard. Nicely done.
Sainty will need to keep those long limbs tucked in whilst he's on the ground, to prevent any submissions.
Chu looking to sweep here. No luck so far.
Sainty looking to sit in guard and control but Chu gets the butterfly guard and sweeps. He's now in the guard on the top.
Sainty working from the bottom, still in full guard. He's managed to get a loose triangle. Chu doesn't seem to be doing much to defend here, obviously he feels comfortable in the position. Chu manages to throw the legs off his shoulder and he's back into guard - no problem.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Sainty has a loose triangle. He'll be looking to tighten that up but Chu can see exactly what he's planning and manages to posture up and free himself.

The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Sainty throws his legs up looking for a submission but Chu uses it to pass to side control.
Sainty takes a nasty elbow to the side of the head.
Chu lands a knee to the body and a forearm to the face.
Sainty is looking to reverse the position.

Chu is working Sainty over with some ground and pound from side control.

Chu wants to lay and pray for a moment but Sainty keeps working.

Sainty takes a couple of big shots there - the referee warns him that he has to defend himself better.
Sainty is looking for a sweep.
The fighters are starting to get a bit slippery now, which will make submissions a bit more difficult.
Sainty tries to slip a leg under to move to half guard but Chu presses down on the leg and jumps into full mount!
Chu looking to finish Sainty with some ground and pound. This is bad for Sainty!
Sainty tries to get back to half guard but can't.

Chu is landing with some decent strikes but Sainty is trying to advance his position so the referee is letting the fight continue.
Chu lands a big elbow.
Sainty is rocked!
Sainty tries to lock up and control but Chu gives him a forearm to the face and pushes him away.
Sainty is looking to get to half guard.
Chu lands with some vicious ground and pound - can Sainty hang on?
Chu landing punches.
Oh Sainty is still in real trouble! Will he be able to recover?!!

Sainty sneaks a leg back under and regains half guard and is working straight away to try and get back to guard. He hasn't managed just yet though.
Chu looks towards his corner to check for any instructions. The corner give him nothing to work with, so he cracks Sainty with a short hammerfist. I guess that's as good as any advice he could get in this position.
Chu uses his free foot to push down on Sainty's thigh. Eventually he works his other foot free and he's advanced to mount - this is trouble for Sainty.
Sainty is looking to improve his position but Chu isn't that keen on the idea.
That's four minutes gone in the round.
Chu breaks from Sainty's wrist control and lands an elbow.
Chu landing strikes, looking to finish!
Chu with a couple of short strikes.
Chu lands a big shot to the head and Sainty winces in pain. He's tapped out due to strikes!
