The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Ootempants manages to get an easy takedown there - catching Mkhize on his heels. He'll look to pass Mkhize's guard now, I'm sure.
Mkhize can't do much from the bottom at the moment, as Ootempants controls the pace.
Mkhize trying to keep a closed guard but Ootempants is proving a slippery customer.
Ootempants works a leg free and moves into half guard.
Ootempants frees up his trapped foot and advances to mount.
Ootempants looking for a guillotine from mount but Mkhize is having none of it.
Mkhize tries to buck Ootempants off but he can't manage it.
Ootempants prevents Mkhize from getting the reversal.
Ootempants controlling the pace for now.
Ootempants punishing his opponent with strikes.
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!
Ootempants working from mount. He moves in close and looks like he might be going for an arm triangle... He's hopped off to the side and he's transitioned into an Anaconda choke. Mkhize turning a nasty shade of purple. He's refusing to tap but he's gone! He's out! The ref rips Ootempants off and cradles Mkhize's limp body as Ootempants celebrates with his corner.
