The judges for this bout are Sandra Marshall, Daniel Franklin and Winston Alpacca.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Xavier throws a big shot that misses.
Azzi is looking to counter punch.
Xavier slips a jab from Azzi.
Xavier tries to clinch
and Azzi counters with a quick right hand to the jaw.
Xavier cracks Azzi with a good shot that sees him stumbling back into the cage.
Xavier lands a lovely overhand right.
Xavier throws a body shot but no joy.
It looked like Azzi was trying to counter with a body shot coming off that last attack from Xavier.
Azzi ducks under an overhand right and circles away with a smile on his face.
Azzi avoids the body shot from Xavier.
Xavier throws a jab when Azzi was well out of range.

We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.

and Azzi counters with a lovely straight right hand!
Xavier jabbing away but nothing is landing.
A little feinted left hand from Azzi on the counter but he doesn't commit to it.
Charles Xavier seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Azzi cracks Xavier with a nice right hand that draws applause from the crowd.
Azzi ducks under an overhand right and circles away with a smile on his face.
That's one minute gone in the round.
Azzi uses decent footwork to sidestep a right hand from Xavier.
Xavier throws a nice looking combination but Azzi bobs and weaves to avoid any damage.
A counter left hand to the body from Azzi misses its target.
Decent striking displayed by Xavier there.
Azzi takes a jab on the nose there. A little bit of blood seems to be coming out. Hopefully that won't affect his breathing.
Azzi scores with a straight right hand, right through his opponent's guard.
Xavier jabbing away but nothing is landing.
Xavier lands a powerful looking uppercut that connected with his opponent's jaw.
Azzi's corner calls for a 1-2. Azzi obliges with the 1 part as he scores the single shot and moves back out of range.
Xavier slips in close and lands a nice hook before moving back out of range.
Xavier throws a body punch but Azzi moves out of range.
Azzi works the jab nicely.
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!

and Azzi scores with a counter punch that sends Xavier to the canvas! Azzi smells blood - he's punishing Xavier with more strikes and the ref has stopped it! Xavier has no idea where he is - he's tackled the ref... oh dear, poor guy, the crowd is in hysterics!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 2:10 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Mustafa Azzi!
Mustafa Azzi decided to go for the less than humble approach in his post fight interview, telling everyone how he is going to conquer the world. The crowd seemed to like it when really that sort of approach could have gone either way.
