Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Richard McAuliffe (ranked 1617 p4p, 187 weight class) and Samuel Boom (ranked 2560 p4p, 277 weight class). Boom comes into a darkened arena with his song building. Boom kicks in, the lights come on and the crowd goes wild! What a showman! Man, I cannot wait for this one!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
McAuliffe avoids a lazy jab quite easily.
Nice uppercut lands for Boom. That snapped McAuliffe's head back.

McAuliffe swings wildly with a right hand that was never going to find it's target.

Boom is landing a lot of head punches in this opening round! McAuliffe had better start moving his head a bit unless he wants his face to turn into pâté.

Boom fakes and then throws a beautiful body shot. McAuliffe looks a bit winded and takes a step backwards to take a breath.

Boom might want to mix his strikes up a bit more. He's just going for head shots at the moment and that can become a bit predictable.

Boom rushes forward with a series of wild hooks but McAuliffe moves out of range and avoids them all easily.

McAuliffe throws a head kick that misses and slips in the process. He scrambles back to his feet and the fighters circle.
McAuliffe scores with a reasonable looking shot to the body. Boom doesn't seem bothered though.
McAuliffe will have to do better than that with his takedown attempts.
McAuliffe looks like he's developed a pretty tasty lump over his left eye. He'll need to avoid taking much more damage to that.

A decent looking cross lands there for McAuliffe.
A looping hook to the body misses from Boom. McAuliffe does a little dance to reset his feet.
McAuliffe jabs. That one connects to the head of his opponent.

Boom, another hit is landed. "You're gunna get knocked out" taunts McAuliffe, as that shot connected.

Boom is looking to stand back up... there's a bit of a scramble and McAuliffe dives into side control.

We've been informed that Boom has been working hard on his conditioning in the buildup to the fight.
This has been an exciting period of action!
Boom is trying to get back to half guard. He's pushing on McAuliffe's leg. He's managed it. Nice work.

That was a close second round but I would say that Richard McAuliffe will probably get the nod.
Both fighters have cut men working on them during the interval.
That's time! McAuliffe's corner gives him a slap on the ass as he gets ready to fight. So, we enter the final round. Let's see if either fighter can bring us a finish, or whether we're going to the judges scorecards.

McAuliffe jumps guard but Boom turns him against the cage and keeps the fight standing.

The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

McAuliffe has been looking to land a fair amount of strikes on the ground. He might be looking to soften his opponent up in order to work for a submission.

Boom working from the bottom, still in full guard. He's managed to get a loose triangle. McAuliffe doesn't seem to be doing much to defend here, obviously he feels comfortable in the position. McAuliffe manages to throw the legs off his shoulder and he's back into guard - no problem.

McAuliffe got a little sloppy there for a moment and Boom has worked his way into a loose triangle - can he finish it?! No, McAuliffe has managed to get both his arms back between Boom's legs - danger averted.

My god... these two guys really need to pick up the pace or everyone will leave to go get a beer.

McAuliffe drops back for a leg! It's a sloppy attempt though and McAuliffe jumps back into guard quickly, to retain the dominant position.

If this pace continues, the referee will definitely step in and force a standup.

Ladies and gentlemen, after 4:56 of round 3, we have a winner by way of TKO (Punches). Samuel Boom!
An out of breath Samuel Boom thanked his loyal fans in his post fight interview, giving them credit for his success over the course of his career.
Richard McAuliffe was interviewed post fight and said 'WTF!!'.
