Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Coolster Cody (ranked 23819 p4p, 24219 weight class) and Blake Demust (ranked 606 p4p, 623 weight class). Cody comes to the cage accompanied by Too Cool. Demust has chosen Slow Hands as his entrance music. Both fighters look pumped up here. Let's hope this is a good fight!

Demust closes the distance and scores a nice trip takedown into half guard. Cody did well to prevent Demust getting side control.

Cody changes levels and looks for a double leg takedown. Demust tries to avoid it but Cody manages to keep hold of a leg and drag Demust to the ground. Demust escapes though and pops straight back up to his feet.

Demust shoots in for a takedown. He's persisting with it as Cody sprawls well. Cody wins this battle and keeps the fight standing. Demust gets slowly back to his feet.

Cody drops back looking for a leg! Demust is in trouble here! The fighters roll with the hold and Demust manages to kick Cody off! Cody jumps back into Demust's guard.

The referee has stepped in and called for a break in the action. We'll restart on the feet.
Cody stumbles momentarily as he takes a strong leg kick from Demust.
Demust throws a body kick that sends a sickening thudding noise reverberating around the arena.

Cody feints and then dives in with a takedown. That was a long way out but the feint bought him enough time to close the distance and complete the takedown. Now we'll play guard for a bit and see who can get the better of that position.

Cody drops back looking for a heel hook - he quickly realises he's not going to get it but Demust manages to dive on top of him before he can escape and now Cody has Demust in his guard.

Cody is working an open guard so Demust takes the opportunity to get back to his feet.

I would just about give that final round to Blake Demust.

A less than humble Blake Demust misjudged his post fight interview somewhat and came across a little too arrogant whilst trying to hype up his own abilities.
