Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Harry Baals (ranked 2353 p4p, 265 weight class) and Darry Curtis (ranked 2090 p4p, 239 weight class). I can't wait for this one - let's get the fighter introductions out of the way and get this one started!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the lightweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

28 - 13 - 1, fighting out of St Petersburg, Harry Baals!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of
17 - 9 - 0, fighting out of New York, Darry Curtis!
The judges for this bout are Nard Betker, Saam Ante and Aafke Stam.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
A jab from Curtis finds it's way through Baals's defenses.
Baals looks exhausted already! Oh dear, he should have come in in better shape than this!
Curtis misses with a body shot.
Curtis swings wildly with a right hand that was never going to find it's target.
Baals went nuts there looking for a big combo counter but none of the flurry connected.
Curtis throws a hook but Baals blocks it.
Curtis throws a head kick but Baals moves out of range.
Curtis lands with a nice body kick.
Baals takes one to the side of the head.
Baals keeping a good distance there, avoiding the body shot.
Baals really does look like a pencil wearing a pair of gloves. Let's hope he has a gameplan to suit that ridiculous body shape.
Baals takes one on the button.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Curtis throws an uppercut from half a mile away. Baals sees it coming and avoids it easily.
Curtis misses with a looping right.
Baals appears to be looking for a big counter.
Curtis throws a wild combination but nothing lands.

Curtis throws a combination but it was largely blocked by Baals.
Baals definitely looks more muscular than last time we saw him fight.
That's one minute gone in the round.
Baals slips under a jab from Curtis.
Darry Curtis seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Curtis lands a big uppercut and Baals crumbles to the floor! The ref thinks about stopping the fight but Baals looks OK. Curtis waves Baals back to his feet!
Baals is rocked!
Baals is wiping some vaseline out of his eye. Curtis doesn't give a rats ass about fair play and cracks him with a massive hook to the side of the head! Baals crumples to the floor out cold! The cornerman is going to be in Baals's bad books for that mishap!
