Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Hip Hop (ranked 707 p4p, 88 weight class) and Expendable Crewman V (ranked 781 p4p, 98 weight class). Hop comes to the cage accompanied by Hard in Da Paint. Crewman V is bobbing his head along to his entrance song: Star Trek. Expendable Crewman V has the better chin. Will he look to stand and bang today?

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Hop fakes high and swings low for a body shot but Crewman V manages to avoid it.
Crewman V takes a swing at Hop's ribcage but misses.
Hop swung with a counter punch to the body but it didn't connect.
Crewman V lands a nice hook to Hop's body. Hop takes it in his stride and looks to land his own strikes.
Crewman V takes a step towards his opponent and connects with a left hand, before circling away.
Crewman V misses with a body kick.
Hop tries to clinch but Crewman V moves out of range.
Crewman V takes a really solid shot there but just smiles back and shrugs his shoulders.
Hop lands a right hook to the body.
Hop connects with a slap. Keep your fist closed son.
Crewman V lands a nice leg kick that just misses Hop's sensitive parts.
Crewman V tries to land with a swinging hook to the body but Hop was well out of range. Poor timing from Crewman V.
Crewman V moves out of range of the body kick.
Crewman V buckles his opponent's knee momentarily with a nice leg kick.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.
Hop keeping his hands up high there, blocking the jab from Crewman V.
Hop uses good footwork to avoid the strikes from Crewman V.
Hop jabbing away but nothing is landing.
Crewman V connects with a hook to the side of his opponent's head.

Crewman V throws the left hand but Hop avoids the punch easily.
Hop blocks the body kick.
Hop scores with a crisp jab that stopped Crewman V in his tracks.

It looks like Expendable Crewman V has been cut.
Crewman V throws a lazy body kick
and Crewman V takes a counter punch right on the button for his troubles.
Crewman V uses good head movement to avoid the hook from Hop.
Crewman V was about to counter that last move with a leg kick but changes his mind.
Hop misses with an uppercut. Crewman V saw that one coming.
Hop throws a front kick aimed at Crewman V's knee but Crewman V avoids it well.
Crewman V connects with a leg kick. He turned his hip over nicely there.
Crewman V misses with a body punch
and Hop counters with a stiff right hand.
Crewman V misses with the combination.
Crewman V moves out of range of the strikes.
Crewman V misses with an uppercut. Hop saw that one coming.
Hop throwing a counter right hand but Crewman V manages to avoid it.
Hop fakes a head punch and goes low to the body. Nicely done.
Crewman V avoids a kick to the body.
Crewman V throws a jab but it's blocked by Hop.
It appears Hop was looking to counter with a kick there.

The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!

Hop scores with a hook to the body. Crewman V takes a step back and tries to catch his breath.
Hop bobs and weaves and throws out a fast jab that snaps Crewman V's head backwards.

Crewman V is rocked!
Hop circles away before darting back in with a big straight right hand. It connects beautifully and sends Crewman V tumbling to the canvas! He's out cold! Hop wins by KO!

Ladies and gentlemen, after 2:23 of round 1, we have a winner by way of KO (Punch). Hip Hop!
Hip Hop decided to go for the less than humble approach in his post fight interview, telling everyone how he is going to conquer the world. The crowd seemed to like it when really that sort of approach could have gone either way.
