These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the bantamweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 2 - 5 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, Alex Swain!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 0 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Amsterdam, Dylan Elkins!
The judges for this bout are Robert Douchet, Alec Ball and Yves DeLean.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
No luck with that takedown attempt from Elkins.
Swain fails to land with a series of punches.
Elkins fakes high and shoots in for a takedown but Swain avoids it really well and circles away.
Swain tries to counter by moving into the clinch but Elkins manages to circle out of the way.
We've been told by Swain's head coaches at Star Studded Beef that he's been working on his takedown defense in preparation for this fight.
Elkins shoots in for a takedown but Swain shows good takedown defense there and keeps this one on the feet.
An attempted straight right counter from Swain misses the target.

Swain tries to drive through with a takedown attempt but Elkins defends well and Swain ends up having to push Elkins into the cage where they will battle it out in the clinch.

Elkins connects with a good right hand that stumbles Swain. Swain circles away out of range and recomposes himself.

And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

Swain lets the fists fly and connects with a left straight followed by a right hook.
Swain stuffs the takedown.
Elkins shoots for a double leg takedown but Swain sprawls well. He's pushed Elkins's face into the mat and manages to get back to his feet relatively easily.
Elkins will need to tighten up his combinations if he doesn't want to gas himself out, swinging at thin air.
Alex Swain is winning the standup battle so far.
Swain tries to clinch but Elkins moves out of range.
Elkins shoots in looking for a takedown. Swain tries to sprawl out of it but Elkins keeps driving through. The fighters are pinned against the cage. Swain manages to get underhooks and after a bit of a struggle, circles away and we're back to standing.
