Showaikh dives in and grabs Thompson's left leg, looking for a takedown. Thompson pushes down on Showaikh's head and hops out.
Thompson stalks Showaikh and leaps in with a furious combination of punches. Uppercuts and crosses smash into Showaikh's face. Showaikh staggers backwards, shaken.
Showaikh shoots in for a takedown. "I don't think so" says Thompson as he avoids it easily.

Both fighters are only really looking to counter, so after a good 30 seconds of circling eachother endlessly, the referee has stepped in and told them both to be more aggressive.
