Werthers swings wildly with a hook that is half blocked by Wius.
Wius misses with an uppercut. Werthers saw that one coming.
Werthers appears to be looking for a big counter.
Werthers throws a monster uppercut resembling something out of street fighter but it doesn't land.
Wius closes the distance and takes a jab right on the nose as he does so.
Wius looks to land a body kick but Werthers moved away.
Werthers throws a leg kick that is checked

and Wius counters with a nice double leg into guard.

We could do with one of the fighters taking the initiative a bit more on the ground - they're both waiting to capitalize on a mistake.

Solomon steps in with a hook that catches Lowery right on the chin and knocks him to the floor! Solomon follows him down with more strikes and that's all she wrote! Lowery looks absolutely devastated.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Neves drives through and clinches with Maldonado against the cage.

Sanel lands a vicious shot with the stealth of a sniper and the strength of a viper. Are vipers that strong? I can think of lots of things that are stronger than a viper - not many rhyme with sniper though.
