Goldberg ducks down and throws a hook to the body but Petrovs moves away.
Petrovs fails in his attempt to clinch.
Goldberg was looking to counter that move with a punch but didn't quite pull the trigger.
Goldberg misses with a jab and misses with a cross straight after too.

Goldberg throws a combination but it was largely blocked by Petrovs.

My spies in JAG Battle Gym inform me that Petrovs has been getting involved in the gym's BJJ sparring sessions. Let's see whether that pays dividends!

Petrovs drops back, looking for a kneebar! Goldberg looks panicked! The fighters roll across the mat, one looking to finish, one looking to escape. Goldberg looks to have wriggled free... Yes, he's got his leg free and he's dived into side control! Good work there from Goldberg!

The crowd seem to be enjoying Lombard's choice of entrance music: Shinedown - Sound Of Madness . Hank Lombard told me before the fight that he's been watching a lot of DVDs so let's see if that helps him in this one! I can't wait to find out!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Golem uses good footwork to get in and out and land a nice right hand before Lombard has time to react.
Lombard lands with a hook. Golem tried to avoid it but it clipped the top of his head.
Lombard jabs Golem to the body, keeping him at a distance.
Lombard lands with a right hand.
Golem swings and misses with a hook to the body.
Golem bobs and weaves well there to avoid the strikes.
Golem throws a hard body shot but it just misses.
Lombard throws a half hearted mid kick.
Lombard looks to land a right hand but Golem moved out of range.

Golem got a little sloppy there for a moment and Lombard has worked his way into a loose triangle - can he finish it?! No, Golem has managed to get both his arms back between Lombard's legs - danger averted.

We could do with one of the fighters taking the initiative a bit more on the ground - they're both waiting to capitalize on a mistake.

Lombard has an omoplata and is looking to use it perhaps as a submission or perhaps to transition. Golem is in a bit of discomfort here, but he's managed to free himself and has dived into side control! That didn't work out too well for Lombard.

That was a close second round but I would say that Emet Golem will probably get the nod.

Dowiyogo has chosen another life - kano as his entrance music, which hasn't gone down very well with the crowd. Karamyenyan has a slight injury, which hopefully won't affect the fight too much. Vahan Karamyenyan could well score a knockout today. He has the power to get to Grover Dowiyogo's chin.
