The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Flanagan shoots in for a takedown and gets it. Let's see what he's got on the mat.

NKone had isolated an arm as going for a kimura. Flanagan defends it easily.

NKone has a loose triangle. He'll be looking to tighten that up but Flanagan can see exactly what he's planning and manages to posture up and free himself.

Saibot chopped to the floor by a nice leg kick but he springs right back up before Rram can pounce on him.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Ster misses with an uppercut. Sylvia saw that one coming.
Sylvia keeps his opponent at a distance with a nice jab.

It looks like Mon Ster has been cut.
Ster takes a hook to the side of the head. I wonder if that's got his ears ringing.
Ster scores with a one two! Sylvia had his feet all tangled up there and couldn't avoid the strikes.

It looks like Slim Sylvia has been cut.

Sylvia now looks to counter with a shot at the body.

Sylvia darts in and out, connecting with a jab.
Sylvia takes a thudding leg kick, right into the meat of the thigh.
Ster fails with an attempt to clinch.
Sylvia lands a front kick.
Sylvia connects with a good right hand that stumbles Ster. Ster circles away out of range and recomposes himself.
Sylvia throws a series of strikes that have Ster backpedaling.
This has been an exciting period of action!
Sylvia throws a right hand that Ster ducks under and follows up with a left that Ster also avoids with ease.
Ster has his head slapped from side to side by a 3 punch combination. That must have hurt him.

Mon Ster's cut is bleeding quite badly. He's got to try and protect it.
Ster throws a lazy uppercut

and Sylvia counters with a nice right hand that sends Ster toppling to the canvas! Ster scrambles and gets back to his feet - can Sylvia finish him?!

Jeez, Mon Ster's cut is really nasty now. The referee must be thinking about getting that checked.

The referee calls the doctor in to look at Mon Ster's cut. Oh no, the doctor has called an end to the bout!

Ladies and gentlemen, after 2:09 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Cut). Slim Sylvia!
Slim Sylvia really struggled to get his t-shirt on before his hand was raised. Making sure that Freebok (85% Laundry) logo gets some air time is pretty tricky when you're all sweaty.
