The judges for this bout are Winston Alpacca, Bart Greer and Sandra Marshall.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Wollams clinches with his opponent.
Wollams tries for a takedown. No joy.

Hook's corner calls for him to break the clinch, which he does.
Wollams avoids a punch combination nicely.
A little jabbing left from Wollams on the counter but it doesn't find it's target.
Wollams shoots in for a takedown. He's persisting with it as Hook sprawls well. Hook wins this battle and keeps the fight standing. Wollams gets slowly back to his feet.
Hook fails with an attempt to clinch.

Wollams pushes Hook up against the cage in a clinch.
Hook is trying to drag Wollams to the mat but Wollams just about manages to keep his footing. He used the cage to his advantage there.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.

Wollams pulls guard effortlessly.
Hook with a flurry of punches that miss.

Hook trying to control but Wollams is working from the bottom.
Wollams looking to hit a scissor sweep but Hook is one step ahead there.
Wollams is avoiding any damage by keeping wrist control.

Wollams is looking for a triangle but Hook pushes his legs off easily.
Wollams looking to control the pace of the fight rather than finish it.
Hook is looking to work some ground and pound but Wollams has wrist control.
The referee must be thinking about standing these guys back up.
Hook knows he needs to get back to his feet asap. He's simply no match for Wollams on the ground.

Neither fighter has done anything of merit for a good minute or two here and the crowd are not happy about it.
Wollams keeping moving, preventing Hook from controlling successfully.

The referee has stepped in and called for a break in the action. We'll restart on the feet.

Wollams closes the distance and looks for a trip takedown... aaaand he's got it - Wollams lands in his opponent's guard.
Wollams throws a big right hand that misses.
Wollams slows down the pace of the fight, as he sits in guard.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

It looks like Wollams might be adopting somewhat of a lay and pray gameplan here, which I'm sure won't go down too well with the paying fans in attendance... Or the ring announcers come to think of it.
Hook controls Wollams momentarily but Wollams frees himself.
Hook looking for a sweep. Not yet Hook, not yet.
We've had a lack of effective grappling in the last minute or so, which could well see a referee standup.

The referee has decided to stand the fighters back up, so we'll restart on the feet.

Wollams clinches up against the cage.

Neither fighter has done anything of merit for a good minute or two here and the crowd are not happy about it.
Wollams wants to strike at distance but he can't break free of the clinch.
Wollams avoiding damage.

Hook decides to pull guard.
Wollams advances to half guard.
Hook tries to get to full guard but Wollams has control of the leg.

Wollams decides he's had enough of the ground and stands up.
Boooooooooooooooooooo!!! God, this has been a terrible round. Come on you two, sort yourselves out!
Wollams misses with a low kick.
Hook slaps away a takedown attempt from Wollams, before circling back to the center of the mat.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

Keenan Wollams dominated that round.
OK. That's time! The bell goes and we're back to the action.


Wollams walks forward, straight into a front kick from Hook.
Hook throws a head kick that misses.
Hook wants to clinch up but Wollams keeps it at a distance.
No luck with that takedown attempt from Hook.
John Hook is looking to throw some combinations by the looks of things.
Wollams throws a leg kick but Hook moved away.
Hook gets his takedown attempt stuffed easily

and Wollams moves into the clinch.

Hook has hold of a leg and is looking for a trip takedown. Wollams avoids it nicely though and we remain in the clinch.

The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

Hook decides he's had enough of playing guard and decides to stand. Come on Wollams, up you get!

A few boos can be heard. I'm sure they will multiply if the fighters don't pick up the pace.

Wollams looking for submissions from the bottom here. Moving his hips around, possibly looking for an armbar.
Hook looking to pass the guard.
Hook has to be careful here, sitting in the guard of a superior BJJ player.
Wollams controlling the position.
Wollams doesn't do any damage with a couple of strikes from the bottom.

The referee decides to stand the fighters back up.
Hook tries to drive through with a takedown attempt but Wollams defends well and Hook ends up having to push Wollams into the cage where they will battle it out in the clinch.

Hook tries to clinch up against the cage, rushing in to close the distance. Wollams manages to break the clinch and circles back to the middle of the mat.

Wollams shoots in and bounces Hook off the cage to secure the takedown into guard.
Hook not looking particularly offensive just at the moment.

Keenan Wollams showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards.
The fighters' corners scream their final instructions, as the referee calls time. Here we go, back to the action! The crowd applaud as we get ready to start the final round!

Hook dives in for a single leg takedown but Wollams sprawls and the fighters end up clinched against the cage.
Hook is looking to clinch but Wollams is avoiding it.

Wollams will have to do better than that with his takedown attempts.
Wollams shoots in looking for a double leg takedown. Hook defends it nicely.
John Hook has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Keenan Wollams.

Well Wollams has outworked and out performed his opponent in all aspects of the game today. He was simply too good and the decision should be no more than a formality. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
