Nasir is actively looking for submissions from his back. He's worked himself a little space on the bottom and seems to be going for a triangle. No, he's switched into an armbar! That was slick! Putin rolls with it to try and escape but Nasir cranks on the arm and Putin is forced to tap out! This one is aaaaaaaaall over!

Cucumber ducks low and lands a nice hook to the body of his opponent.
Cucumber feints a jab promting Patron to slip. Cucumber then demonstrates his capabilities by jabbing again. Patron slips again and ducks right into an uppercut.
Cucumber misses with a few strikes there.
Cucumber comes forward and lands a shot to the body, then darts back out of range.
Cucumber stuffs the takedown attempt from Patron. Patron gets slowly back to his feet.
Patron shoots in and drives through. Cucumber sprawls well.

That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Valerio Patron. That's going to take a lot out of him.
Patron closes the distance and clinches up with Cucumber, looking for a takedown. Patron pushes Cucumber against the cage but Cucumber circles to the side and manages to break the clinch.

This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!

Satanae with a nice cross.
Satanae moves away from the strike by Black.
Satanae connects with a leg kick. He turned his hip over nicely there.
We've been hearing reports that Black has been drilling takedowns in recent sessions so let's see if that has an impact on the result of this fight.
Satanae slips under a jab from Black.
Satanae was about to counter that last move with a leg kick but changes his mind.
Satanae turns his hip over beautifully as he lands a nice leg kick.
Black with a lazy takedown attempt
and he gets countered with a snapping leg kick.
Black misses with a left hand
and Satanae counters with a thumping low kick.
Black sees a low kick coming and goes to check it, but it's actually a body kick and it thuds into his unprotected ribs.
Satanae thuds his right hand into Black's forehead from close range. That could be painful for both fighters.
Black on the wrong end of a decent looking cross there.

Satanae takes the fight into the clinch.
The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here.
Black is looking for a takedown up against the cage. Satanae gets underhooks though and prevents the takedown attempt.

Satanae lands a vicious shot with the stealth of a sniper and the strength of a viper. Are vipers that strong? I can think of lots of things that are stronger than a viper - not many rhyme with sniper though.

Jakanen scores with a head kick. Feiter tried to block it but didn't get his arm up in time.
Feiter tries to drive through with a takedown attempt but Jakanen defends well and Feiter ends up having to push Jakanen into the cage where they will battle it out in the clinch.

A head kick by Jakanen - that's a beauty! Feiter is out but he's somehow still standing... he's going... going... gone. Like a drunk walking down the middle of the road, the inevitable face plant follows and the delayed knockout arrives. Even Jakanen can't help but laugh at the bizarre end to this one!

Nice sprawl there from Lima as Frog shoots in.
Frog is trying hard to land a takedown here. Lima sprawls well and keeps this one on the feet.

Frog throws an elbow that misses. Lima uses the momentum to reverse the position. He's now in Frog's guard. Nice move by Lima!


Lima got a little sloppy there for a moment and Frog has worked his way into a loose triangle - can he finish it?! No, Lima has managed to get both his arms back between Frog's legs - danger averted.
Lima wants to control from the top but Frog keeps moving.
Frog on his back here. We all know that wrestlers don't like being on their back so let's see if Frog tries to get out of the position.

Frog escapes his hips to the side and looks to be working for an armbar. Lima gives him a little smile and shakes his head. No chance.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.

Frog is looking for a triangle but Lima pushes his legs off easily.

Frog had isolated an arm as going for a kimura. Lima defends it easily.

Frog has a loose triangle. He'll be looking to tighten that up but Lima can see exactly what he's planning and manages to posture up and free himself.

Lima has a momentary lapse of concentration, allowing Frog to throw up a leg and lock on what appears to be a pretty tight triangle! Lima is fighting it off but it's all too little too late - Frog pulls down on the head and he's put Lima to sleep! This one is all over!

Adams has been spending a lot of time sparring his boxing in the run up to the fight, trying to sharpen up those hands and look for a knockout.

Adams lands with a nice combination. Knyaz backs away looking to recover.
Knyaz goes for a small jab and connects. Now Knyaz goes in closer pressing the issue. Left hook, right straight! Adams stumbles back but Knyaz runs in with a huge uppercut knocking Adams to the ground! What a finish! You have to wonder if Adams will ever be the same after a knockout like that.
