Bei jerks Murdock's head down, straight into the path of a devastating knee! Murdock drops to the floor in a crumpled heap! Bei goes to throw a finishing haymaker but pulls out - good sportsmanship from Bei because Murdock was completely out of it. That was a nice finish - just the right level of brutality to send everyone home happy.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Biante defends well against a solid takedown attempt from Gamztkhanov.
Gamztkhanov shoots in but doesn't get the takedown
and Biante counters with a body kick that stops Gamztkhanov in his tracks momentarily.
Gamztkhanov is looking to take this fight into the clinch.
Gamztkhanov dives in for a single leg takedown but Biante sprawls and the fighters end up clinched against the cage.
Bruce Biante has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Magomedkhan Gamztkhanov.
Gamztkhanov shoots in but doesn't get the takedown
letting Biante counter with a right hand.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Gamztkhanov shoots in looking for a takedown but Biante manages to keep the fight standing, pushing Gamztkhanov's face into the canvas for good measure before circling away.
Biante half committed to a counter leg kick.

Gamztkhanov closes the distance and scores a nice trip takedown into half guard. Biante did well to prevent Gamztkhanov getting side control.
Biante wants to get back to full guard.
Biante knows he needs to get back to his feet asap. He's simply no match for Gamztkhanov on the ground.
