Freeman ducks under a wild hook from Alves.
Alves fakes a head shot and lands one to the body.
Alves looks to have improved his striking defense since last time we saw him fight.
Michael Alves seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Freeman is the aggressor but that punch slipped nicely by Alves.
Alves shakes his hands off, looking to compose himself, but takes a jab to the jaw whilst he does it.
Alves throws a chopping leg kick but Freeman manages to avoid taking any serious damage.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Hayakawa throws a right and a left that Capuchin avoids nicely.
Hayakawa dives in and grabs Capuchin's left leg, looking for a takedown. Capuchin pushes down on Hayakawa's head and hops out.
Capuchin avoids the head kick by Hayakawa.
Hayakawa throws a nice looking combination but Capuchin bobs and weaves to avoid any damage.
