Savage fails in his attempt to clinch.
Savage closes the distance and takes a jab right on the nose as he does so.
Mason digs a good hook to Savage's body.
Savage is looking to clinch but Mason is avoiding it.

Mason feints a jab and as Savage dips his head, Mason unleashes a brutal head kick that catches Savage right on the jaw! Timbeeer! Savage falls backwards in slow motion, only propped up by the cage! Mason smiles a psychotic smile as he stares down his unconscious opponent. That is a scary man.

Marek Weeill struggled to make weight for this fight. He only made it down to 187.5lbs at the first attempt and had to take the additional two hours to make the official bout weight. Let's see how much it's taken out of him. This should be fireworks!

We can't be sure of the tactics at this early stage but we have heard that Weeill has been working on his takedowns a lot in the buildup to the fight and we can only assume he's going to look to take this to the mat.

Obuhov has picked Weeill up - he's going for a ride! Obuhov dumps his opponent to the mat with a thud and settles into half guard.

Obuhov is looking for a kimura. It's going to be difficult to finish that from half guard though and Weeill defends it well.
Weeill is staying active underneath Obuhov, who seems content to just control the action from this position.
Weeill won't allow Obuhov to pass to mount.
Obuhov wants to take a breather but Weeill is having none of it.

Toecutter throws a series of strikes that have Abrams backpedaling.
Toecutter shoots in looking for a takedown. Abrams tries to sprawl out of it but Toecutter keeps driving through. The fighters are pinned against the cage. Abrams manages to get underhooks and after a bit of a struggle, circles away and we're back to standing.

Abrams closes the distance and after a bit of a stuggle, scores a takedown into Toecutter's guard.
We could do with one of the fighters taking the initiative a bit more on the ground - they're both waiting to capitalize on a mistake.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Gromov is trying to pull guard but Gracie has him pressed against the cage.

Gromov shoots in for a double leg but Gracie sprawls well. That's going to sap some energy.
And an attempted straight right on the counter from Gracie! But no joy.

Gracie scores with a sloppy punch to the body. Not much technique there but it did the business.

That's a knee to de groin and it's over and out! Maryman crumples to the ground after an illegal strike from Konstantinov - the referee stops the clock and Maryman gets 5 minutes to recover from that one. "I'm sorry" says Konstantinov. Maryman manages to get back to his feet and the fight resumes.

We could do with one of the fighters taking the initiative a bit more on the ground - they're both waiting to capitalize on a mistake.

Babak got a little sloppy there for a moment and Kohler has worked his way into a loose triangle - can he finish it?! No, Babak has managed to get both his arms back between Kohler's legs - danger averted.

Babak has a momentary lapse of concentration, allowing Kohler to throw up a leg and lock on what appears to be a pretty tight triangle! Babak is fighting it off but it's all too little too late - Kohler pulls down on the head and he's put Babak to sleep! This one is all over!

Kaspar Kohler opened up his post fight interview with a scream to camera that he wants a title shot! Whether he deserves the shot will be up to the management of the organization, so I guess he'll have to wait and see.
In defeat, Mohammed Babak stepped up to the mic, saying 'I am very impressed by Kaspars performance, but I will work my way up again, for sure.'.
