Sapp shoots in for a takedown but doesn't get it.

Powers swings away but doesn't land with a series of punches.
Sapp fails to land with the punch combination there - jab, cross, hook, miss, miss, miss.
Powers tries to clinch up.
Powers will need to tighten up his combinations if he doesn't want to gas himself out, swinging at thin air.
Sapp tries to score a power double leg takedown but Powers sees that one coming and sprawls well. That will dishearten Sapp somewhat.
Powers throws a wild combination but nothing lands.
Powers is looking to take this fight into the clinch.
Powers tries to clinch up but Sapp circles away and keeps his distance.

No luck with that takedown attempt from Crain.

A momentary lapse in concentration from Vader enables Crain to shoot in and score with a neat double leg. Vader manages to secure a closed guard as the fighters hit the mat.
Crain really does look like a pencil wearing a pair of gloves. Let's hope he has a gameplan to suit that ridiculous body shape.
Vader bucks up whilst keeping hold of a body lock, managing to reverse the position. Now he's in top in Crain's guard.

We get told so often about how wrestlers don't like to be on their backs. Let's see if Greywar can do anything to dispel that myth.

That was a close round. You could make an argument for either fighter but I would give it to Steve River.
Well Nowacki has outworked and out performed his opponent in all aspects of the game today. He was simply too good and the decision should be no more than a formality. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.

A very excited looking Lucas Pereira rambled incoherently for about 5 minutes post fight about how awesome he is. It was kinda funny for a while but then everyone got annoyed.
In defeat, Luke Lii stepped up to the mic, saying 'I didn't Lie did I Lucas I tried to put my leg on the side of your head. Every Time I step in the cage you all know a worrior has been there. SO with That Maynerd I'll fight you again come on back son and let Daddy show you something.'.

I really don't envy Ward right now.
