Bauer closes the distance and clinches up, looking for a takedown. He shifts his weight and gets a nice trip into half guard.
Przemek is a painfully thin specimen of a man. You do wonder whether a good body kick would snap him clean in two.
The referee wants the fighters to be more active or he's going to reset them on the feet.
Bauer trying to pass the guard but Przemek defending well.
Bauer is just sitting in half guard, waiting for something to happen.
Bauer uses his free foot to push down on Przemek's thigh. Eventually he works his other foot free and he's advanced to mount - this is trouble for Przemek.

Bauer has control of Przemek's right arm, working for a kimura. It's a bit of a token attempt though and Przemek regains control of the situation pretty easily.

Coming up we have a bantamweight MMA rules bout between Johnny Ray Miranda (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Micky Ward (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Miranda comes to the cage accompanied by I'm Not Alright from Shinedown. Micky Ward struggled to make weight for this fight. He only made it down to 136.1lbs at the first attempt and had to take the additional two hours to make the official bout weight. Let's see how much it's taken out of him. Micky Ward told me before the fight that he's been watching a lot of DVDs so let's see if that helps him in this one! I can't wait to find out!
