Undercard bout

Coming up we have a bantamweight MMA rules bout between Chong Zhu (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Going Nutz (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Zhu kept the crowd waiting but all that was forgotten when his ring entrance music started. The incomparable musical genius that is Meet Gazoo. Both fighters look pumped up here. Let's hope this is a good fight!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Zhu tries to clinch up but Nutz circles away and keeps his distance.
Like a baseball bat into the meat of his leg there - nice leg kick by Zhu.
Chong Zhu seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Nutz shoots in for a takedown - he's clinched up with Zhu but Zhu pushes him off and we're back to square one.
Zhu plants his feet and lands a nice head kick!

Zhu gets caught napping as Nutz dives in and scores a takedown. Zhu manages to retain guard.
Zhu wants to get back to his feet but Nutz is in a dominant position and won't allow it.

Nutz has gone for a leg lock! Zhu slips out almost immediately though and dives into Nutz's guard.

Nutz shoots for a double leg takedown but Zhu sprawls well. He's pushed Nutz's face into the mat and manages to get back to his feet relatively easily.
Zhu pushes forward with a 1-2 combination that forces Nutz back to the cage. Zhu follows up with a solid lead hook to the liver.

Zhu lands a jab and follows it up with a massive straight that knocks Nutz out cold! Nutz is crumpled in the corner, his head only propped up by the cage! That's one for the organiziational promos right there! Wow, what a finish!

The Chef lands hard precision jab right on the jaw that stiffens Oliver up and sends him tumbling to the mat! The ref grabs The Chef from behind before he can pounce. Some folks in the crowd didn't like that stoppage, but I saw Oliver's eyes roll way back in his head, he was done.
